About this centre

Our students work in a large, light-flooded classroom in the heart of the city of Baden-Baden. Parents and students can exchange ideas in the waiting area or use the many different shopping opportunities in the surrounding area during their child's working hours.

You will find the Study Centre Baden-Baden-Zentrum on the ground floor of the inner courtyard of the "Alte Post", right next to the Volksbank. It is very easy to reach on foot or by public transport. The nearest bus stop is at " Leopoldsplatz". All bus lines from the surrounding area to the city centre stop here. But also by car the journey is no problem. Nearby parking is available in the city centre car parks Vincenti, Kurhaus or Kongresshallengarage.

During the opening hours our Study Centre team is 100% focused on the students, whose development of their skills and abilities is our main concern. Therefore, we do not answer telephone enquiries on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays between 13.00 and 18.00 hours, but we will be happy to call you back as soon as possible.

During my studies and my work as a graduate civil engineer, but also after moving to South Africa, to an unknown culture, I have experienced how useful it is to be able to assess, develop and rely on one's own abilities and skills.

All parents want to provide their children with a good education and upbringing, but they also want to give them the opportunity:

- to discover their abilities,
- to develop under their own steam,
- to learn from mistakes and to grow from them,
- to believe in oneself,
- To have goals and learn how to achieve them so that their children become independent and capable of living.

Through my own three children I got to know the KUMON method in South Africa and found out that even very small children can develop their abilities to a maximum with KUMON. Therefore I decided in 2007 to become a KUMON instructor and to open a learning centre in Baden-Baden.

To support the individual student together with the parents, not to give up when difficulties arise but to overcome them and to experience the joy that follows is great. In addition to technical competence in mathematics or English, logical, structured thinking and linguistic confidence is strengthened and the children develop qualities such as concentration, stamina and self-confidence. In this way the individual grows beyond himself and his school year level.

Every child is unique and should be able to learn just as individually. With KUMON, each student begins at the level of difficulty that corresponds to their current abilities. At the same time, each student develops individually the skills and abilities needed for successful learning.
